About meππ»βοΈ
Hello there! Looks like maybe you were unsure about me, so here you are! You'll get everything you need to know about me hereπ.
I'm 24 years old and qualified for my 200hr RYT yoga teacher training in summer 2022. I started to teach part time at the beginning of 2023 and now I am full time teaching! Before I decided to take my yoga teacher training I was doing a lot of bodyweight training/ calisthenics, and mentally I have been deep into meditation for about 5 years.
I always wanted to feel strong as male and thought I could get away with not stretching or atleast not slowing down and so I was always doing body builder style training. Long story short, after working a back breaking warehouse job and training bodybuilder style, for me it started to make my body feel worse although I looked great on the outside. I needed times where I slowed down more, incorporating movements and exercises that helped passively challenge my range of emotion instead of always forcing myself into positions all the time, that's when I came across yoga! It's not about demonising any particular way of doing something, it's about knowing what you need in that moment, which will always change!
I fell in love instantly, and the fact I could incorporate my handstand in to my practice was also a bonus, since 2021 I have been practicing yoga everyday and started to practicing yoga as a way of life, not just some stretching routine.
My love for body building and training has led me to understand human anatomy and physiology which I also learned on my YTT, as well as studying sports science for just over a year in my teenage years.
I am always learning so much from what I do and learn so much from my students. I will always consider myself a practitioner first then a teacher because of this and I hope to get to know you better one day too.
Now my whole life is centered around yoga and Ayurveda as a lifestyle. This of course influences all my classes and 1:1 sessions so always keep that in mind when thinking about practicing with me.
Have a great day!ππ»
